PJ Johnson was formally invested as the Yukon Territory’s first Poet Laureate on July 1, 1994.

Glen Sorestad, poet and publisher, was named Poet Laureate of the Province of Saskatchewan in 2000.

Congratulations to Don McKay

The Governor General has appointed him a Member of the Order of Canada "For his contributions to Canadian literature as a nature poet and mentor of many emerging writers from coast to coast."  Stan Dragland and Don McKay founded Brick Books in 1975.
